SOXX / Asia chip lead — how Im reading relative strength at the auction

Post by LondonNewsTrader »

Holiday desk note for tape readers: the lead is coming from **Asia chip strength + US memory RS**, not from a fresh US cash print (NYSE/Nasdaq shut Labor Day).

What I’m watching into Tuesday’s open auction:
- Does SOXX / MU open with RVOL and hold the first 5–15m VWAP, or is it a one-print gap that dies?
- Index soft + semis firm = relative long setups only after auction noise clears — no market-order heroics at 09:30 ET
- Failed RS (semis gap up, then trade back through VWAP while ES stabilizes) = fade the narrative, not the level fantasy

This is order-flow / relative-strength work, not “AI forever.”

Anyone marking overnight Seoul highs as the reference for US SOXX, or only Friday’s US cash levels?
First reclaim of VWAP or first failed break — which is your default after a holiday?
