Apple also dropped Mac mini with M6 (their 2nm story) — smaller bill than Studio, still pitched hard for AI workloads. For scalpers this is the “always-on box under the desk” conversation.

Possible uses:
- Local scrapers + news triage that shouldn’t sit on the same Windows VPS as the broker
- Overnight journal / replay analysis while the trading VPS stays lean
- Not a replacement for NJ/NYC execution proximity geography still wins for fills

If your trading PC is already melting at 09:30, a mini as a **research appliance** is more honest than buying Ultra ego.
