Elice −32% on Kosdaq debut as data-centre IPOs get shelved: the AI-infra listing window is shutting — sizing CRWV/NBIS

Another data point on how far sentiment around AI infrastructure has turned.

Elice Group, a Korean AI cloud and modular data-centre builder, debuted on Kosdaq today and closed around 61,500 won, about 32% under its 90,500 won IPO price. It was South Korea's biggest IPO of the year (~201bn won, ~$150M), priced at the top of the range on 6 Oct, before the recent AI sell-off. Retail subscription was more than 400x and the business is profitable (H1 revenue roughly tripled to ~34bn won, operating profit ~10bn won). It still got hit hard.

It isn't the only one:
- Firmus (Nvidia-backed, Australia) pulled its Sydney listing this month
- AirTrunk (Blackstone) is delaying a planned Singapore REIT IPO
- SB Energy (SoftBank) had filed for a US IPO and has also shelved it, per CNBC
- Nscale is getting pushback on its target valuation (Bloomberg)
- Pre-market US: CRWV is down ~3% again, and MU (−2%) and INTC (−1%) are soft, with NQ futures ~−0.3% while Dow futures are green

The read for risk: Elice was priced right and profitable, and it still fell 32% on day one. That means buyers are now pricing in funding risk, meaning who pays for the compute and for how long, not just valuation. That makes the neocloud names (CRWV, NBIS, IREN, CIFR) more prone to gap moves on any financing headline, in either direction.

What I'm doing: smaller size and wider stops on that basket until Meta/Tesla capex comments land later this week, and no overnight holds into SpaceX tonight given how much AI spending will be in that report.

Are you cutting size on the neocloud basket this week, or is this the kind of fear you lean against? And would a weak IPO tape change how you trade the next US data-centre listing on day one?
