Cash US is dark for Labor Day, so I’m mapping the midweek single-name calendar before Tuesday’s reopen rather than inventing fresh tape:
- Tuesday: GameStop (GME), Casey’s (CASY) after the close — meme beta vs regional retail/fuel comps
- Wednesday: Chewy (CHWY) — consumer discretionary check after Friday’s LULU wipe
- Thursday stack already flagged elsewhere: ORCL + ADBE AMC, plus Macy’s; PPI in the morning
- Friday: Kroger (KR) into CPI morning — food retail vs inflation print
Practical: I won’t size all of these. Pick 1–2 liquid names with clean catalysts and pre-define AH risk (no overnight size into CPI unless the thesis is inflation-linked). Holiday reopen often front-runs the loudest Thursday/Friday stories first.
Sources: week-ahead earnings calendars (Gotrade/TradingKey-style lists); Friday consumer tape context.
Which midweek name is actually on your Tuesday watchlist — GME liquidity, CASY comps, or skipping until ORCL/ADBE?
Do you cut overnight size entirely this week ahead of CPI Friday?
Midweek earnings ladder: GME/CASY Tue → CHWY Wed → soft goods Thu
