Yemen's Houthis say they hit Saudi Aramco sites in Riyadh and the Khurais area with ballistic missiles and drones, claiming major fires, after Yemen's Saudi-backed government launched a large offensive on Sunday. The Saudi coalition spokesman called the Riyadh claim misleading, and so far there's no Aramco/Saudi confirmation of damage or lost output. Brent (Dec) jumped ~0.8% to ~$103.06 early in Asia and WTI to ~$91.57, before Brent faded back toward ~$102 later in the session.
Why equities care: oil above $100 is a big part of why the 10y is still ~5.26% even after Friday's soft payrolls. A sustained energy bid keeps the inflation/hike debate alive into Wednesday's FOMC minutes.
Scalper read: pure headline tape — expect spikes in XLE/XOM/CVX/OXY on any confirmed damage, and fades if Aramco says operations are normal. Airlines are the natural other side (DAL reports Fri).

Sizing down on energy until Aramco comments? Anyone pairing energy vs airlines on these headlines?
Oil: Houthis claim Aramco strikes (Riyadh/Khurais) — Brent ~$103 spike, WTI ~$91.6; Saudis dispute
