New scalping stock strategy based on volatility

Post by PTStockScalper »

Hi Traders,

i got an idea for stock scalping EA based on volatility, previous Supports and Resistances.

First of all i test my ideas with real trading XTB account with small deposit.
If it will give me sense, i will try to create automatic EA for that.

These are tests from stock:CSG.

What do you think about it.

As you can see on charts there is same situation, same positions, but different timeframe.
So it is important to enable that ea to “watch” what is going on from different perspectives.

Correct me if I’m wrong

From what I see, you sell once price breaks the support and buy once price breaks resistance?

Do you know about the liquidity sweep concept?

Hi Fairman,

no, at this first version of strategy i have only long (buy) positions without leverage.
What i try to do is to buy bigger volume for better price in relative to intraday and medium term moving average.

In future, i would add hedging with sell thrue CFD only for partial hedge, that means that my buy positions are allways bigger than selling.
In stocks is allways good to be in long. I do not like naiked sell positions there.

What do you think about it?

I think it’s a good plan, one way or another the stocks will go back up

Hi Fairman,

yes, Exactly. But advantage here is that it is without leverage, so only “stop loss”, which you can get is in case that company bankrot and is delisted from stock Exchange, which can happen, but not so much, if you try to trade stocks in Us500 or Us100 index.

Exactly, in 99 percent of cases.
And in case it continue to fall down, you can make parcial hedging, that means that for example if you have 5 stocks in long side, you will sell 2 cfd on short side and your directional risk will go from 5 long to 3 long ;-)

Come to think of it, hedging was the first strategy I learnt when I started trading in 20019/ 2020. I literally paid 2 dollars or so to learn that strategy and I hate myself for it

The mentor told me that’s the strategy he used and I’m damn sure he is not profitable lol 😂

Hi Fairman,
you are wrong, he was profitable from hedging, not by using it in trading, but by selling it as course 😂😂

Hedging is nothing else than extension of main long trading.
Why do you think was created something like term hedge fund? Its fund, who can hedge risk during bad times and still make profit during downtrend or corection :-)

Think about it as tool.
You can use it, you do not have to. Its up to you.
You are captain on your trading boat.

And yes, 80 percent of profesional hedge funds will not Outperform US500 index in longrun.
