TXRH: Jefferies upgrades to Buy, PT $190 from $186 — "attractive entry" after -4% YTD lag vs casual-dining peers

Analyst call on the tape this morning, and a quieter one to trade around CPI and the bank prints.

The call:
- Jefferies (Andy Barish) upgraded Texas Roadhouse to Buy from Hold, PT $190 from $186
- Their pitch: the stock is about -4% YTD versus roughly +50% for casual-dining peers, while traffic is still positive
- They also see easing beef inflation as possible EBITDA upside from 2027, so the upside does not need a higher multiple
- Bigger picture in the note: sit-down "experience" dining is holding up better than quick-service, where people can trade down to grocery or convenience stores

Reference: closed $162.18 on Tuesday, so the new PT is roughly 17% above.

How I would treat it intraday:
- Upgrades on laggards often get a gap and then a test of the prior close. I want to see whether $162 holds as support on the first pullback
- On a CPI morning the whole tape can swing at 13:30 London, so I would not read much into TXRH pre-market before the data hits
- Restaurant peers (DRI, EAT, CAKE) are worth a glance for sympathy, but I would not chase them off one note

Do upgrades on beaten-up names like this give you a clean intraday trade, or do they fade by lunch? And is beef cost something you actually watch for restaurant names?
