GMAB ~+8% in Copenhagen: epcoritamab + R-CHOP cuts progression/death risk 51% in frontline DLBCL Phase 3 — ABBV partner

Biotech catalyst for the US open. Genmab (GMAB ADR here) traded up more than 8% in Copenhagen this morning after it and partner AbbVie (ABBV) reported topline Phase 3 data for epcoritamab plus R-CHOP in newly diagnosed diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), the most common form of non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
What they said:
- The combination cut the risk of disease progression or death by 51% versus R-CHOP alone (the current standard of care).
- The companies call it the first Phase 3 study of a bispecific antibody combination to show a statistically significant progression-free survival benefit in first-line DLBCL.
- Safety was described as generally consistent with the known profiles of both treatments.
- Epcoritamab is not yet approved for untreated patients; this is topline only, so full data (and overall survival) still to come.
Barclays called it strong validation in frontline DLBCL, which is the drug's biggest commercial opportunity.
Scalper read: the GMAB ADR should open with the Copenhagen move largely priced, so I'm watching whether it holds the European level after the first 15 minutes rather than chasing the gap. Liquidity in the ADR is thinner than the home listing, so spreads can be wide early. For ABBV it's a small piece of a big company; I wouldn't expect much beyond a sympathy tick. Worth watching other names in the lymphoma/bispecific space for a negative read-through.

Anyone trading the ADR at the open or sticking to the Copenhagen line? And does "topline, no OS yet" make you fade this, or is a 51% risk reduction enough to hold?
