EL: Barclays upgrades to Overweight, PT → $108 (was $97) — ~+2% pre-mkt; margin story into FY27

Barclays (Lauren Lieberman) moved Estée Lauder to Overweight from Equalweight and raised the PT to $108 from $97. The thesis: FY26 Q4 organic sales growth was broad across regions and categories, and management gave enough margin detail at last month's consumer conference to support upside to the mid-teens operating-margin assumption, with high teens possible over time. Barclays calls it one of the most attractive names in global staples on sales and earnings growth.
EL closed Friday at $91.97 (about −12% YTD) and was indicated ~+2.2% near $94 pre-market (Grafa/MT Newswires). For context, the LSEG median PT across ~44 brokers is ~$129, so Barclays is not the high target, just a rating flip.
Scalper read: a rating-change gap of ~2% in a large cap usually trades on the open drive and then mean-reverts unless volume backs it up. $92 (Friday close) is the line — a hold above it after 10:00 ET means the upgrade is being bought, not just reacted to. Other analyst moves this morning include a JPM upgrade on Ryder (R) and Evercore turning bullish on TXRH after its ~25% drawdown.

Do you trade single-broker upgrades on large caps, or ignore them unless the gap is 4%+? Anyone watching TXRH off the Evercore call?
