Sector ETF check at 09:15 ET before I commit to any single name

Before I settle my A-list, I spend five minutes on sector ETFs. My usual set is XLK, XLF, XLE, XLV and XLY, plus SMH for chip names. The question is simple: is the sector behind my stock moving with it, against it, or not at all? A strong single name in a sector that's falling apart is a different trade from one riding its sector.

## Rails
- At 09:15 ET I note each sector ETF's premarket change against its prior close, and SPY's.
- For each A-list name I note its sector ETF and label the pair: WITH (same direction, sector moving), AGAINST (opposite direction), or ALONE (sector flat).
- WITH gets normal size. ALONE gets normal size only if there's a clear company-specific catalyst. AGAINST gets half size and only my A-grade setup.
- After 09:45 ET I check again. If a WITH pair has turned into AGAINST, that name drops to half size for the rest of the morning.

## Worked example (illustrative)
09:15 ET. SPY is slightly green. XLF is up clearly, and a $48 regional bank is up about the same on no specific news. Label: WITH, normal size.

A $90 software name is up on earnings while XLK is red. Label: AGAINST, half size, A setup only.

At 09:41 ET the software name breaks its premarket high at 90.50. It's an A setup, so I buy 100 instead of my normal 200, at 90.53 with a stop at 90.36, a 17-cent stop. At 09:46 ET it reaches 90.88. I sell 50 at 90.86 for 33 cents and trail the other 50 to 90.70 at 09:52 ET for 17 cents.

The bank name gives a B-grade VWAP pullback at 10:05 ET. It's still WITH, so I take it at normal size: 200 at 48.21, stop 48.09. It stops out at 10:11 ET for 12 cents. That's a normal loss on a normal-size trade.

## Failure modes
- Checking sectors once at 09:15 ET and never again. Relationships change after the open.
- Picking the "wrong" sector ETF for a name that straddles two. When that happens I write down which one I'm using and stay consistent.
- Letting a strong AGAINST name talk me into full size.

## When to skip
- If SPY and most sector ETFs are sharply mixed at 09:15 ET, I trim the A-list to two names.
- If I can't identify a sensible sector ETF for a name, it gets ALONE rules at most.
