Monday software shock: Meta hired MongoDB CEO Chirantan “CJ” Desai as chief enterprise platform officer and framed a new enterprise-AI push (Zuckerberg: “next major pillar”). MDB tumbled as much as ~20–27% on the day; CRM, NOW and SNOW each slipped roughly ~4% within minutes of the newsroom note — META itself also soft ~−4%. MongoDB named former CEO Dev Ittycheria interim and reaffirmed Q3 / FY27 guide; investor day is Tuesday.
