Tue prep: Nasdaq record hangover — AZO BMO day; ES/NQ bid; oil still soft

Tuesday open setup after Monday’s AI/CPU melt-up: Nasdaq closed at a record (~27,122, +2.3%), S&P ~+1.5%, Dow ~+0.7%. Overnight futures were still constructive into the London morning — NQ a touch greener than ES, with yields softer (10Y back under the 5% handle on the Mon close) and crude still digesting the MidEast diplomacy bid (Brent flirted with sub-$100; WTI printed multi-session lows near the mid-$90s).

Single-name calendar is thin but real: AutoZone (AZO) is the main BMO print — street boxes cluster ~$54–$55 EPS / ~$6.7B rev for Q4 FY26, call later morning ET. Also BMO: THO, MLKN. AMC watch: KBH, WOR. Week macro still has Trump–Xi / UNGA diplomacy as the headline risk, not a heavy US data day.

Scalper read: Mag7/CPU names that ran hard Mon (AMD/META/ARM/INTC) often gap-fade or chop first 30–60m unless futures keep grinding. Mark ES/NQ overnight VWAP and whether AZO’s reaction is consumer-discretionary-specific or just noise vs the AI bid.

Sources (paraphrase): Mon session wraps (Nasdaq record / AI rally); earnings calendars for AZO BMO Tue; oil/yield tape from Mon afternoon.
What are you watching first — AZO reaction or residual CPU strength into the open?
