Optical wreckage: GLW/COHR/LITE −10%+ — same AI-capex unwind?

Monday’s AI-pacing headline didn’t just hit GPU names. Optical/comms got smashed harder than the megacaps in several prints — Corning (GLW), Coherent (COHR) and Lumentum (LITE) were cited down roughly −10% to −12% while the Philly SOX index fell nearly −6%.

Tape read: if the market is pricing a slower AI build, the picks-and-shovels under the data-center stack can gap more than NVDA on the first day — then mean-revert or keep bleeding. For scalpers, relative strength vs NVDA/SMH matters more than the index print.

Watching GLW/COHR for a bounce scalp off Monday lows, or treating them as stay-away until SMH stabilizes?
Any relative pair you like (optical vs NVDA) when the AI narrative flips?
