Different tape from the old MU/SNDK “memory vs soft indexes” thread — today is the S&P 100 effective date.
S&P DJI puts SanDisk (SNDK) into the S&P 100 before the Mon open with DELL, PANW and ANET (NKE / CL / SPG / HONA leave). Fri close $1,791.82 (+10.99%), three-day climb from ~$1,520; AH ~$1,798. Forced S&P 100 ETF buying is small vs SNDK’s dollar volume (largest S&P 100 tracker needs on the order of ~$100M), so most of that bid likely printed into Friday’s close — Mon is more “sell-the-news vs NAND follow-through.”
Levels: Fri range ~$1,616–$1,797; consensus target ~$2,125; June ATH ~$2,354. Next memory-cycle checkpoint still MU on 30 Sep.
Sources (paraphrase): S&P DJI 4 Sep; FinanceFeeds / Motley Fool inclusion + Fri tape wrap.
Fade a PM extension of the three-day run, or only take a reclaim of Fri’s $1,791–$1,805 band?
Trading SNDK alone, or as a basket with DELL/ANET/PANW on the same index day?
SanDisk into S&P 100 today with DELL/PANW/ANET — Fri $1,791.82 (+11%), 3-day ~+18%
